The Scott Fire Department will be hosting a special event on Sunday as a way to make Easter special for kids in the city.
Scott Fire Chief Chad Sonnier says the Easter bunny is coming to town on Sunday, and will have a police escort as he rides around Scott on a fire truck to see all the children.
Sonnier says the bunny will be arriving around 9:30 a.m., so he hopes everyone who wants to see him will be (safely) outside when he passes by.
This is another way the Scott Fire Department is helping to keep residents safe and helping children have special days during quarantine. Firefighters are also helping to pick-up groceries for the elderly in Scott.
