In Lafayette on Saturday, Big Brown Cares served meals to children in the community.
The organization set up a drive-thru location at Heymann Park at 1500 S. Orange St. The drive-thru was open from 12 p.m. - 2 p.m.
500 meals will be distributed at the drive-thru.
Members of the organization delivered the food to drivers who came with their children.
