Symphony in the Sky, presented by the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra, is being held tonight, October 22.
The event is held at the top of the Downtown Parking Garage in Downtown Lafayette and started at 5:30 tonight.
There will be sunset cocktails, mouth-watering food, and favorite tunes performed live by orchestra musicians with guest singers.
This year's Symphony in the Sky was originally scheduled for last week, but was rescheduled due to inclement weather.
Tonight's attendees will enjoy food by Tula Tacos and the favorites of Elton John played by ASO.
Dana Baker, Executive Director of AOS, said, "A roof top party with symphony. It's just, we don't have a lot of opportunity in town to have roof top party type things. In bigger metropolitan areas we do, but that, I think that's my favorite part."
