The 17th Annual Kuts for Kids & Stuff A Backpack event was held today at Blue Cliff College in Lafayette.
The event, sponsored by the Upsilon Rho Chapter of Omega Psi Phi & 100 Black Men of Greater Lafayette, offered kids a chance to get a free haircut for the start of school, as well as a backpack full of supplies.
"People coming together, you know, giving back to the community, getting these kids ready. It's going to be a big boost of confidence for them to leave here with a nice hair cut," said Joshua Guillory, a volunteer.
