The Iberia Mental Health Initiative is hosting a family and mental health support session Tuesday evening to discuss mental health during COVID-19.
Leaders at the event say one thing you should hold onto during stressful times like this is hope.
"COVID is impacting a lot of people with anxiety and depression and naturally it's only getting worse because of all what's going on, but there is hope," explained Phyllis Babineaux, a licensed clinical social worker. "This too shall pass. We're gonna get over this, we can do it."
Attendance at the event was limited to 25 percent occupancy and social distancing was enforced.
