Jeanerette City Marshal Fernest Martin confirms that police are investigating a shooting and a vehicle crash this evening.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Green and Kentucky Streets.
Martin said that no one was injured in the shooting. He added that a car crash resulted because of the shooting.
Police currently have three people detained in relation to the incident.
