The Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating an afternoon shooting.
A spokesperson says one person was shot around 1:30 in the 3700 block of W Admiral Doyle Drive. We're told the victim has non-life threatening injuries and is being treated at an area hospital.
Right now, deputies are talking with residents to corroborate stories. At this time, deputies do not have a suspect.
