Crowley Police investigated an incident involving a reported train accident over the weekend, according to the Crowley Post-Signal.
The paper reports that around midnight on Saturday, residents contacted the paper with reports of a train stopped on nearby tracks with a heavy police presence.
Crowley Police Chief Jimmy Broussard explained that the train's conductor had contacted police over concerns that the train had possibly hit a pedestrian on the tracks.
After an investigation and search, no victim was located and the train continued.
