The Town of Iota will be conducting an inspection and cleaning of the water towers on Monday, April 27. This will require the town's water system to be shut off.
Water will be shut off around 8 a.m. City officials say they hope to have it back on by 4 p.m.
As a precaution, the Town of Iota is issuing a boil water advisory once the water is turned back on. The advisory will remain in effect until we receive notification from the Department of Health and Hospitals - Office of Public Health.
