DOTD and the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office have announced I-10 closures for next week.
I-10 Westbound between Exit 72 (Egan) and Exit 76 - LA 91 (Iota, Estherwood) wil have alternating lane closures on Wednesday, February 5, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., weather permitting.
Also, I-10 Eastbound between Exit 72 (Egan) and Exit 76 - LA 91 (Iota, Estherwood) will have alternating lane closures on Wednesday, February 5, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting.
These closures are necessary to allow crews to perform routine bridge inspections.
The road will be open to regular traffic with 16-foot lane restrictions on oversized loads passing through the work zone.
Emergency vehicles will have access to the area.
