The Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office is meeting the needs of its neighboring agencies.
Friday, Sheriff KP Gibson donated five vehicles that were declared as surplus to five different police departments in the parish.
Estherwood, Iota, Rayne, Morse, and Mermentau will each receive one unit to assist with patrols.
