Acadia Parish officials have been notified of a positive case of COVID-19 in the parish.
An official with the Acadia Parish Office of Emergency Preparedness and Homeland Security confirmed with KATC that officials were notified at 7:30 Saturday night of the positive case.
Officials are working in conjunction with the Louisiana Department of Health and the Governor's Office of Emergency Preparedness and Homeland Security.
A formal statement will be released by the office with more information when it becomes available.
