Here's the story about Jordyn Malbrorough's heroic actions during the storm:
For neighbors on Prudence Highway, it only took 30 seconds for their homes, cars and lives to be turned upside down.
"We was sitting down watching a movie, eating popcorn like it was a regular day," says 12 year old Jordyn Malborough who was home with his family when the tornado hit.
"When we felt it, it was too late because we was running to the back of the house like to the tub but it was too late then we all just fell, then the house started flipping then next thing I know I was in the middle of the house trying to get out then everything was just falling on me," says Malborough, who said he truly believed he could die in that moment.
The situation felt like life or death, not only for Jordyn but his four younger siblings who were also inside the home at the time.
"My sister climbed to meet me from underneath the house and my other sister she was on the ground right there, she fell when the house fell over," says Malborough.
After pulling his two sisters from the rubble and helping his father's fiance out from under a piece of furniture on the other side of the house, Jordyn is feeling grateful that the only real losses are material.
"I can always replace that I can't replace my life."
