Local business owner Joey Richard led a community service initiative titled “Cutting Hunger, Not Just Hair” on MLK Day.
Moving beyond the barber chair, Richard and a team of volunteers delivered hand-packed grocery care packages directly to the doorsteps of elderly residents in Opelousas and the surrounding St. Landry Parish area.
