It's another cold start this Thursday morning with temperatures sitting around the freezing mark, and in some cases coming in a little below freezing.
Sunshine will help warm us up Thursday afternoon with highs getting up into the upper 50s, and without a breeze the wind chill won't be as dramatic has it has been these last few days.
The clear skies will lead to another night with temperatures dropping into the mid 30s so another frosty start to the day to wrap up the work week.
Weather over the weekend becomes a little more interesting with a low forming in the Gulf of Mexico promising portions of the Gulf Coast soaking showers through the weekend.
This means that for Acadiana we'll be waking up to widely scattered showers on Saturday, with heavier showers to the east.
If you are traveling to the east this weekend you'll want to make sure that you are prepared to travel through some wet, windy weather.
