LAFAYETTE, La. - A rally in support of a youth-led Global Climate Strike will be held in Lafayette on Friday.
According to organizers, guest speakers will discuss how the climate crisis in Louisiana affects flooding and the Mississippi River, and the how to transition to a sustainable energy infrastructure.
The Global Climate Strike - Rally will be held at Parc Putnam, 813 Lafayette St. in Lafayette. Friday, September 20, 6-8 pm.
There will be music, speakers and visual presentations, stated on the Facebook Event.
