Almonaster Road in Youngsville will be closed next week for sewer work. The work will be occurring across Almonaster Road adjacent to Southside High School.
The road will be completely blocked off to vehicles from Monday, July 27, to Friday, July 31, including emergency vehicles. The closure will be between Gireer Road and Mayor Lucas Denais Drive.
Drivers must use alternate routes. Available detour routs will be Larriviere to Chemin Metairie Parkway to the south and Gireer Road to Young Street to the North. Access to Southside High School will be maintained throughout construction thru Mayor Lucas Denais Drive.
