A Lafayette Parish grand jury indicted a Youngsville man on a murder charge Wednesday.
Jared Michael Broussard, 32, was indicted on a charge of second-degree murder, records show.
Broussard is accused in the April 3, 2020 death of Ashley Loftis.
If convicted, Broussard faces a mandatory sentence of life in prison without parole, probation or suspension of sentence.
