The City of Youngsville is alerting drivers to a change coming to the intersection of Detente Road and Chemin Metairie.
Beginning Wednesday, October 2nd, the intersection will become a 3 way stop to facilitate on-going roundabout construction. The three way stop is expected for the next 9 months.
During Phase 1 of the Project, the Détente Road south portion of the intersection will be closed for at least 4 months. Détente South will not be accessible from that intersection.
Motorists will need to use alternate routes to access Détente Road via Hwy 89 south to Chemin Agreeable to Détente and will need to take Détente south to Chemin Agreeable to Hwy 89 leaving the RV Park or residences in the Détente south area.
