A Youngsville boy who is awaiting a heart transplant was recently featured on the lifestyle network Localish.
Fourteen-year-old Hunter Henry calls Youngsville home, but he and his parents have been living in Houston since January 2019. Hunter was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome and is awaiting a heart transplant.
Hunter trains and cooks with the executive chef at the Texas Children's Hospital in Houston. He also helped create new recipes for fellow patients on restricted diets.
