A local non-profit called Journey Girls and Co. visited Women's and Children's Hospital in Lafayette today to spread some holiday spirit.

They went room to room bringing Thanksgiving gifts to children who can't be home for the holidays.

The children were also surprised by a visit from this year's mascot Olaf from Frozen.

Shavonda Martin, Director of Journey Girls, explained the group's mission.

"Don't be hesitant to give. There are people that need food. There's people that need clothes. There's people that need to be loved and the main thing that we want to spread is to just to spread giving and just spread thankfulness and love."
