SouthStar Urgent Care is open seven days a week, and can provide treatment to patients of all ages for general illnesses and injuries, X-Rays, stitches, sutures, staples, occupational medicine services, in-house screenings for flu, strep, RSV, and more.

According to a release, SouthStar has added precautionary measures to their facilities to ensure patient and team member safety including accelerated sanitizing and cleaning, protective masks, hand sanitizer stations, and also encouraging all patients to practice social distancing in lobbies or by waiting in the comfort of their car after checking in.

COVID-19 screenings are available as well for patients who meet the criteria set by the state health department.

“Our full-service line of exceptional, compassionate care is still available to Louisianans far and wide. We know that the current health crisis impacting our state and beyond may be frightening, but our team is here to aid you should you or your family need an X-ray, stitches, strep test, or any other service you’ve come to expect from Urgent Care,” said Hulin Health President and CEO, Laura Miller.
