Verot School Road near Twin Meadow Lane remains flooded but water has begun to slowly recede.

There are several cars that have become stuck as they move down the roadway.

Earlier on thursday, the road was completely blocked off as waters covered a large area of roadway.

Flooding around the area of Verot School Road and along subdivisions in the area has been reported.

For motorist driving from Fortune Road towards Vincent, there is still a road closed sign in place to prevent motorist from driving into the high waters.

As a reminder, if there is water on a roadway and you can't see how deep it is, it is best to turn around. Trekking through high water could cause damage to vehicles and property in the area.
