A virtual ArtWalk, a new Instachat feature and other items are in this week's update from the Acadiana Center for the Arts.

This week, the organization launched AcA NXT: INSTACHATS - a biweekly live stream on the AcA Instagram where there are interviews with young, up and coming Louisiana artists.

The chats are hosted by Performing Arts Director Clayton Shelvin and Visual Arts Director Jaik Faulk, and give viewers a chance to meet a variety of artists from Louisiana every Monday and Thursday at 12:30pm.

To participate, follow AcA on Instagram and feel free to leave comments during the stream for the artists.

This Saturday, ArtWalk will happen, albiet virtually.

You can see some great work and interact with artists, but also get your own art featured.

You can submit artwork to "exhibit" on ArtWalk's event page hereor post it to your own page using the hashtag #ArtWalkAtHome.

Visit ArtWalk Lafayette's Facebook page for more details.

Also, the AcA's PACE Online Art Class series has been continued. You can find new videos on the YouTube channel here and also broadcasted on AOC as part of the United Way of Acadiana's Learn United program.
