Vermilionville is set to reopen soon with a few changes in place to keep visitors safe.

The Bayou Vermilion District says that Vermilionville will open to guests on Tuesday May, 19. La Cuisine de Maman is now open for dine-in guests.

The Bayou Vermilion District, Vermilionville, and La Cuisine de Maman have undergone a complete cleaning and disinfecting process, according to officials.

"We will continue to monitor the government's guidelines and adhere to them. We take our staff and guests' safety very seriously; therefore, we wipe down all doors knobs and touchable surfaces daily at 8:00am."

Visitors are encouraged to wear facemasks and practice social distancing.

Admission will be $5 while the state is in phase 1 of reopening. The village will be open, but the houses will not.
