Lafayette Police say the person critically injured in a shooting Wednesday night on E. Vermilion Street is now stable.
An investigation remains ongoing into the shooting which happened around 6:50 p.m., in the 1000 block of E. Vermillion Street on November 6. Officers located the 23-year-old male victim outside a residence suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital listed in critical condition. As of Thursday afternoon, the victim is listed in stable condition.
No arrests have been made. The victim is now listed in stable condition.
