UL reports highest amount of COVID-19 cases on campus for week of Nov. 8 since semester began

LAFAYETTE, La. — UL Lafayette has reported 39 positive COVID-19 cases for the week ending Nov. 8, which marked UL's Homecoming Week.

According to the university's COVID-19 dashboard, 33 students self-reported a positive case, 4 students were confirmed with a new case and 1 faculty or staff member was confirmed to have a positive case of COVID-19 from Nov. 1 - 7.

These 38 cases marks the the highest week yet in the pandemic since UL started reporting cases on campus earlier this year compared to 37 for the week of Sept. 13 - 19.
