UL Lafayette says that no in-person courses will be held through Friday August 28 due to possible impacts from tropical storms Marco and Laura.

All course instruction will instead continue remotely through the rest of the week.

On-campus operations and departmental offices will continue teleworking through Friday, August 28, according to the University.

The University says that campus residents may park their vehicles in the Girard Park Circle Parking Garage through Friday, Aug. 28, for free.

More communication on the storm will be issued by the university on Tuesday, August 25.

Updates and emergency information will be posted on the University’s website and official social media accounts.

Information will also be communicated to students through their University email accounts and possibly through the University's Emergency Notification System (ENS).

ENS emergency alerts are sent by email, telephone and text message.

Students and employees not signed up to receive emergency alerts, can find out more about doing so here.
