UL Lafayette architecture students recently designed and built homes. Today, residents were able to tour those homes. It's all part of the Building Institute, the school's education design/build program.
Students and faculty led the tours from noon to 6 p.m.
Students offered instruction about passive and active solar energy, energy efficiency, sustainable design, and more.
The tours began at the Beau Soleil Home on Girard Park Drive. Other homes included in the tours were The EVENThouse, the NEXThouse, the COURhouse, and the recently completed 1020house.
