LAFAYETTE, La. — Students at UL Lafayette enjoyed their homecoming this week including an event on Wednesday called Wear Red, Get Fed where they were treated to a free lunch for wearing their school colors.
UL students were given a free box lunch if they wore their favorite Ragin' Cajuns gear to campus.
The Campus Cupboard also held a donation drive to help feed students struggling with food insecurity.
"(We're) just getting prepared for the homecoming game to cheer on our team and be in the homecoming spirit despite the pandemic and everything that's going on," said Aleya Domingue, UL homecoming coordinator. "We just want people to have a good time and get some food to take home."
