UFC fighter Dustin Poirier is paying food tabs for people who visit Broaddus Burgers Saturday night to watch his fight.

Anyone who heads to Broaddus to watch UFC fights will have their food bill covered.

Poirier told MMA Junkie that he wanted to encourage the support of local businesses and he thought this would be a good way for that to happen.

The offer is good until the restaurant closes.

One patron explained why he attended the event.

"You get a chance to celebrate one of our own. Not only being successful as a philanthropist and Samaritan. He's a world champion. Now we get to see him take on an up-and-coming guy," explained Timothy Stroud. "We all get to be here enjoying each other's company in these trying times with the pandemic.
