Our crews are recording damage from Hurricane Delta, and Jordan Lippincott is on Sterling Street in Lafayette.
A large tree was uprooted by the storm, a house lost its roof and a vehicle sustained unknown damage from the tree. The tree also took out a powerline to the house.
Even though Delta came through Lafayette as a Category 1, the winds were still high enough to cause damage that will require lots of work from homeowners.
