The Lafayette Garden Club held their annual Arbor Day ceremony on Friday, January 29.
The ceremony got underway at 10:00 am at Heymann Memorial Park in Lafayette.
During the event, a tree was planted in memory of Garden Club members Aline Arceneaux and Ann Justice.
Officials from Lafayette Consolidated Government were also on hand for the ceremony.
