DUSON, La. — The Town of Duson will shut off its water system on Wednesday starting at 10 p.m. until Thursday morning at 7 a.m. in order to rebuild its water pressure.

Mayor Johnny Thibodeaux tells KATC that the water is being shut off because they are unable to keep up with water pressure due to leaks, and because of people letting water run in their pipes.

The water shut off is being done in order to build up water pressure, he says.
