LAFAYETTE, La. — LAFAYETTE, La. - Ovey Comeaux High School was placed on a soft lock down on Tuesday.
School officials received a report of a weapon in the vicinity of the high school.
Both law enforcement and school officials confirmed a threat.
According to school officials, during the course of investigating the threat, another threat was discovered at Comeax Rec. Center.
That threat is still being investigated.
Expect extra law enforcement in the area during the investigation.
