An 18-year-old Lafayette man has turned himself in Monday in connection with a shooting on Moss Street over the weekend.

Lafayette Police say Malik Soloman turned himself in at the Lafayette Police Department on Monday December 2. He was arrested on an active warrant for Attempted Second Degree Murder.

The shooting occurred on November 30, 2019 at around 6:23 pm in the 2300 block of Moss Street. Once on scene, officers say they located a 36-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshots. He was transported to a local hospital and is currently listed in stable condition.
