LAFAYETTE, La. - Jewelry manufacturer Stuller announced Thursday that the company and its associates have donated more than $3,200 for hurricane relief to Acadiana Animal Aid.

The company came together after the shelter posted a video on its Facebook page showing significant damage to the grounds following Hurricane Delta.

“Acadiana Animal Aid has been one of our corporate charities since 2019,” says Katie Gilbert, human resources benefits and wellness manager. “When we saw that they were in dire need for help to rebuild, we knew our associates would step up for the cause.”

Over the course of a few days, the company offered associates a chance to make a one-time donation of any amount via payroll deduction. In total, the company and associates raised $3,287.25 to donate.

“We have a lot of animal lovers here, and we want to assist Acadiana Animal Aid in not only finding fur-ever homes for the animals but providing a good shelter for them before then as well,” says Gilbert. "The more people that can get involved, and either volunteer their time, money or donation, the more animals they are able to help in our community and the more homes they are able to find."
