LAFAYETTE, La. - One hundred families won't have to pay for a turkey this Thanksgiving.
The donations were given through the Steve Harvey Morning Show and Magic 104.7.
The staff at the radio station gave out the free turkeys on Monday.
They say it's important to give back to the community.
"A lot of times we think about the eating, but we forgetting about giving, want to give back to community in need giving away 104 turkeys this day," said Jerold jackson, Program Director Q 95.5 and Magic 104.7.
