State looking for chefs to compete in annual Louisiana Seafood Cook-Off

The search is on for chefs to participate in the 13th Annual Louisiana Seafood Cook-Off.

The Lieutentant Governor's Office and Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board are calling on chefs from across the state to submit their applications by Wednesday, April 15, 2020.

The event will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at the Cajundome Convention Center in Lafayette.

This is the fourth year the competition will be held in Lafayette.

According to a release, entrants must be an executive chef for a free-standing Louisiana restaurant belonging to the Louisiana Restaurant Association.

Winners of the competition earn the title of King or Queen of Louisiana Seafood and serve as representative of the state at various events.
