YOUNGSVILLE, La. - Spots are still open for cooking teams for the VFW Post 9210 second annual Veteran's Day Bbq Cook-off fundraiser.
The event will be held at the Youngsville Sports Complex on Saturday, November 9, 2019, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Entry fee is $125 per team. Trophies will be handed our for first, second and third place winners. There are four categories - Brisket, Pulled Port, Pork Chops and Chicken.
Gates open at 5:00 pm Friday for cooking teams. Gates opens to the public at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 9. Veterans with ID free and children 12 years old and younger get in free.
Tickets are on sale for $5.00.
