Southern Screen Festival early bird passes now available

Posted at 5:05 PM, Sep 22, 2020

Southern Screen Festival early bird passes are now available. Everything will be presented virtually this year, which is much different from years past, but will still bring audiences quality programming throughout the four-day event, according to event organizers.

Southern Screen is a non-competitive festival offering a platform for creative expression and exchange. Aside from films, the festival offers music, podcasts and educational workshops and panels. This year's virtual festival will also feature pass and ticket options that include a picnic or a Cajun Crate Louisiana meal in a box for attendees to enjoy at home.

All pass and ticket information can be found on the Southern Screen website, Stay tuned for announcements on films, music, workshops, panels and seminars. Past special guests include actress Alison Becker (Parks and Recreation); producer Monty Ross (Malcom X); Ben Dickey (Blaze); John Veiner (Family Guy); Eamonn Bowles (Magnolia Pictures); and Javier Marcheselli (Blade Runner 2049).

2020 marks Southern Screen's 10-year anniversary. And as a gift to all the film lovers out there, the organization is offering 10 weeks of staff favorite short films every Tuesday at 6:00 PM CST until the week of the Festival.
