Some LCG services stopping for Independence Day holiday observance

Lafayette Consolidated Government has announced the halting of some services for the Independence Day holiday.

The Department of Public Works Transit Division will not provide bus service on Saturday, July 4, including Daytime, Night Owl and Paratransit. Approved Paratransit riders will not be able to schedule rides.

Transit services will resume the amended COVID-19 routes on Monday, July 6, 2020.

The Compost Facility will be closed Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4, 2020. Regular hours will resume on Monday, July 6, 2020.

There will be NO CHANGE to the Republic Services garbage collection schedule.

The Lafayette Consolidated Government’s (LCG) 311 Call Center will be closed on Friday, July 3, 2020 in observance of Independence Day. Citizens wishing to request services are encouraged to visit to submit a service request.

Those interested in Lafayette Economic Development Authority (LEDA) services such as the Business Recovery Loan Program can also leave a voicemail with their contact information for LEDA staff to return when the call center resumes operation.

Both call centers will return to their regular hours Monday, July 6, 2020.

Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

LEDA Call Center (311, Option 2)
Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
