A middle school student from Lafayette got the surprise of a lifetime on Friday.
What began as a normal school day for Jeremy Tolliver, Jr. turned into an unexpected family reunion.
His mother Danelia Clements and step-father Robin Clements, returned from a six-month deployment with the United States Air Force and surprised Jeremy during class at Edgar Martin Middle School.
The 5th-grader, upon seeing his parents, rushed directly into his mother's arms for a tight hug.
