LAFAYETTE, La. - The Rotary Club is hosting a furniture drive for SOFA - Service, Outreach, Furniture, Acadiana.
The drive will be held at 410 North Pierce Street in Lafayette from 8:00 am to noon on Saturday, September 21.
SOFA is a non-profit that helps people who have been homeless, victims of domestic abuse, or other disasters.
Items they collect are couches, chairs, tables, desks, lamps, beds and more. The group then stores, cleans and distributes the furniture at no charge.
The organization is also in need of volunteers.
