South Louisiana Community College will be conducting drive-thru ceremonies for graduates.
SLCC says that Spring 2020 grads will be honored with a drive-thru ceremony on Thursday July 16 and 17. This year's regularly scheduled ceremonies had to be postponed and changed because of the ongoing pandemic.
Diplomas will be given to graduates in cars at the Devalcourt Building, along Luke Street on SLCC's Lafayette campus.
The graduation will happen on Thursday, July 16 from 8:30 am. - 11:30 am and again on Friday, July 17 from 8:30 am - 1:30 pm. A schedule can be viewed below:
The public can view the ceremonies on the college's Facebook page where both ceremonies will be live-streamed.
