Shaq is asking Acadiana to mask up to protect themselves and others from COVID-19.
A video circulating on Facebook shows the former basketball star asking the residents of his second home to help prevent the spread of the virus.
Shaq specifically mentions places like Lafayette, St. Martin Parish, Breaux Bridge and St. Martinville in the video.
"We know what we gotta do," he says. "Remain safe and follow the rules."
