The Scott Police Department is asking the public’s assistance in identifying a man accused of taking a wallet that belonged to a person in a wheelchair.
The incident happened on April 28 at about 3 p.m. at a business in the 1000 block of Renaud Drive, Scott Police say.
The victim, who uses a wheelchair, was leaving the business and dropped their wallet, but didn't notice, police say. Video surveillance captured a man walking out of the store, picking up the wallet and leaving with it, police say.
The man was last seen on foot wearing a yellow flowered baseball cap, a florescent green shirt and khaki pants.
