The Scott Fire Department is assisting the North Pole in making sure letters make it to Santa before Christmas.
The department says that due to social distancing guidelines, Santa's elves have requested that firefighters help them make sure that all letters from children in the area make it to Santa in time.
A special mailbox with direct delivery to the North Pole has been set up outside of the Scott Fire Department on Lions Club Road.
Parents are encouraged to bring young family members to Santa’s Mailbox to drop off their wish lists, take photos and share them on Facebook.
The department will receive letters until noon on Thursday, December 24, 2020.
