The Schlotzsky's location on Johnston Street in Lafayette will close at the end of February.
Lafayette location owners Ted and Cindy Nevels announced on Sunday that they are retiring after 35 years of serving the Acadiana area.
The Nevels shared the news in a post to the Schlotzsky's Facebook page.
The Schlotzsky's location on Johnston Street will close on February 28, but the restaurant's location on Pinhook Road will remain open.
The Nevels said that the Pinhook location was sold to a longtime general manager in December 2020.
"We are grateful to our loyal customers and wonderful employees that helped us to be successful over the years," the post on the Schlotzsky's Facebook page reads.
According to the Advocate, the Johnston Street location has been listed for $1.325 million
