The Salvation Army of Lafayette's Family Thrift Store is reopening to the public on Thursday, June 11, 2020.
The store, located at 115 E 3rd Street, will be open Thursday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Salvation Army says that these hours are temporary until the store fully opens for business.
Employees are required to wear masks and gloves provided by the Army to protect themselves and customers.
The CDC’s social distancing guidelines will be in place, with customers being required to stand six feet apart. Customers are also encouraged to wear face masks. A hand sanitizing station will be provided at the front of the store.
"The Salvation Army of Lafayette greatly needs an outpouring of support to continue to serve our community’s increased need," a release states.
